The four key topics are the following:

  • geopolitical situation and foreign policy;
  • economic ties and development of bilateral relations;
  • cooperation in defense and security, including defense industry production;
  • partnership between Serbia and Hungary in all other areas.

Excellent Relations Between Orban and Vucic

Viktor Orban arrived in Serbia leading a Hungarian delegation for a working visit, which  reflects the importance of the meeting. During the discussions, the two leaders reviewed in detail the current state of bilateral relations and explored new opportunities for future cooperation.

During the talks, special focus was placed on economic cooperation.

The two countries have already collaborated on several joint projects and are now seeking further opportunities to deepen their economic ties. Defense and security cooperation—particularly with regard to defense industry production—was another major topic.

President Vucic emphasized the friendly atmosphere and historical importance of the meeting, stating:

I am proud of our friendship and of the best relations in the history of Serbia and Hungary.

This statement reflects the strong partnership that has developed between the two countries in recent years.

The discussion of geopolitical and foreign policy issues suggests that Serbia and Hungary are working to align their positions on international matters—a move that could be crucial for the stability and development of the region.
