The assembly session will decide today about the rise of public utility charges probably beyond the inflation rate. Water charges will be raised by 7 pc but canal dues will be raised again drastically by 14, 8 pc though this year the latter has been raised once by 40 pc. Sniffing car charges will be raised by 8,6 pc while refuse collection will be raised either by 9,1 pc or 12 pc. Metropolitan transport tickets are expected to be more expensive by 10-15 pc. The Fidesz-Christian Democrat faction of the assembly proposes to give families with three children or more free parking facilities, similar to those of the disabled.
