László Sándor, president- director general of MALÉV Airlines Company leaves his post with HUF 200 million net as a severence pay, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. It has turned out recently that the State Privatization and Property Management Company as the owner of Malév wants to separate the post of the president and that of the director general. For a time it was István Csillag, former Minister of Economy, who seemed to have a chance for the position but he chose the leadership of Hungarian Export-Import Bank instead. Originally it was planned that Péter Hónig, previous head of Dunaferr would be president to be elected tomorrow on the assembly of Malév but László Sándor decided to leave instead of having someone beyond him.
