EXCHANGED VOTES OF REFERENDUM ALREADY FOUND

In the course of the recounting of votes on the recent referendum ordered by the Supreme Court there has been found a polling station where they exchanged the votes, Fidesz claims.

In a polling station of Budaörs the ’yes’ votes on stopping hospital privatization have been doubled when recounting them. Mr Csenger-Zalán, local representative of Fidesz in the constituency said the former result showed there were 210 ’yes’ votes against 424 ’no’ but when recounted, the result changed to 424 ’yes’.

The cause of the grave mistake may have been that the records had been signed before the actual counting. A similar case happened at Tárnok where the ’yes’ votes on preventing hospital privatization increased by fifty after recounting them.
