The Central Bureau of Investigation of the Prosecutor has heard as suspect László Kodela, former deputy state secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office in a bribery case of HUF 5 million, along with Tamás Bálint, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. Attila Kulcsár gave evidence against László Kodela claiming that the sum had been given to Kodela in the presence of Gyula Szekér, a taxi driver who confirmed the story. The other suspect, Tamás Bálint is charged with bribery. He is accused of receiving HUF 10 million from Kulcsár for a report on the State Supervision Office of Financial Institutions (PSZÁF). According to Kulcsár it was Kodela who reccommended Kodela as a useful link. Bálint was chief adviser to the state secretary in charge of public funds, formerly he was state secretary Keller’s cabinet chief. Attila Kulcsár was given an ID by Kodela which served as a pass to the parliament building, too.
