Though earlier the Ministry of Health and the National Health Insurance Fund had promised to send the bulletin to the printer by mid-December, this has not taken place. Jenő Rácz, Minister of Health a month ago said there would be no higher raise than an average 7 pc but yesterday they said the talks were still going on.
It is not known why at all a price rise is necessary because the producers had concluded a contract with the government that no raises woiuld be done until 2006. This spring the prices of all medicines were reduced by 15 pc by the government. Now they say they expect a 15 pc rise.
