COMPANY GIFT FOR SOCIALISTS BY ÁKOS ERDŐS

Readers and subscribers found with great indignation that propaganda brochures of the Hungarian Socialist Party had been enclosed in specialist journals and reviews distributed for a special circle.

Geomédia Company and Magyar Mediprint Ltd which belong to Ákos Erdős’s sphere of interest publish nineteen journals and reviews in a monthly circulation of 190 000 and each copy contained an envelope with the Socialist logo of a carnation. The doctors, public notaries, civil servants, architects, oenologists, experts in tourism and other specialists have been shocked to receive the letter signed by PM Gyurcsány and István Hiller, chairman of the Hungarian Socialist Party. It was Ákos Erdős whose Láng Holding bought the National Scholbook Publishing Company in scandalous circumstances and the businessman has been heard by a special parliamentary committee which investigates in the case of Premier Gyurcsány’s accumulation of riches. Experts claim it has been unparalleled in the last fifteen years that such a rude instance of direct political marketing was used.
