Abu Mohamed was a widely known figure of the underworld in Székesfehérvár and he was condemned to eight years’ imprisonment and expulsion from Hungary. The new regulation prescribes compulsory expulsion only in the case of an imprisonment over ten years. Sources in the Ministry of Justice claim this change can lead to a series of executive clemencies as the President will not be able to consider each individual case.
