The department of investigation of the Budapest Police started an investigation based on an article published in Magyar Nemzet. Miklós Paizs has incited to kill several leading figures of the right wing, ranging from Viktor Orbán to István Csurka. This call has been broadcast in Budapest Rádió, in a programme anchored by János Fiala. Mr Paizs whose singer’s name is Sickratman, has sent a message to several media claiming he had acted deliberately to provoke the right wing. According to legal experts this sort of incitement that urges violence can be punished with three years’ imprisonment. The Broadcasting Authority will also examine the programmes of Budapest Rádió, its decision following a motion of Annamária Szalai (Fidesz) has been unanimous.
