From the revealed dossier of Tamás Forró it turns out that the well-known journalist had been working from 1976 for the III/III department of the secret police. After his exposure as a secret agent Mr Forró said he was in fact a journalist helping to change the regime. Magyar Nemzet now wishes to throw light on this career on the basis of Tamás Forró’s work files preserved by the Historical Archives of the State Security Services. As it is known Mr Forró who is an art-dealer as well had to leave the morning news programme Nap-kelte anchored by him in the Hungarian public television because he was also affected by the K&H broker scandal. It turns out from his files that Tamás Forró had his share of fighting against the ideas of the Polish Solidarity movement spread in Hungary, too. The secret police recruited Tamás Forró in Szolnok.
