THE LEFT VOTES WITH IBOLYA DÁVID

The part of the Hungarian Democratic Forum (MDF) faithful to Ibolya Dávid voted down the motion of Fidesz in the parliament, along with the Socialists and the Free Democrats.

Viktor Orbán, chairman of Fidesz in answering Dávid’s letter claimed his party had not interfered and would not interfere in other parties’ business. A part of the MDF faction called ’Lakitelek workteam’ does not find faction leader Károly Herényi’s position legitimate while the procedural committee will decide probably today about Sándor Lezsák and László Balogh MPs’ exclusion from the faction. The ’Lakitelek team’ finds the procedure absolutely illegitimate and they suspect the author of the open letter to Viktor Orbán was not Ibolya Dávid because the highest forum of the party was mistakenly called ’congress’ in the letter instead of ’national assembly’.
