Péter Doszpot MP (Hungarian Socialist Party), a former police officer, is said to become the anchorman of a popular criminal report programme called Kék fény (Blue Light) in public television though he finds it too early to confirm the piece of news. Zoltán Rudi, President of MTV Hungarian (public) Television said there were several programmes to be ’brushed up’. Péter Doszpot said it would be a great challenge to test himself in the role of an anchorman and he would be willing to give up his seat in parliament for this. Péter Doszpot left his police carrier for a higher political position but in fact he had to be satified with the post of an MP.
