It is not surprising that left-wing firms receive regularly several tens of millions of forints on tenders of the National Adult Training Institute: the examination initiated by the ombudsman shows that in the juries most of the time there are former and present friends of Chancellery Minister Péter Kiss or employees of the ministries. The Adult Training Institute has published the list of juries following the summons of Attila Péterfalvi, ombudsman for data protection.
It turns out from the list that György Kósa Somogyi, former media advisor of Péter Kiss and one of the candidates of the left for the presidency of the public television has been a member of all the four juries. Péter Kiss in the Medgyessy cabinet had been Minister of Labour so he directed just the field where the Adult Training Institute belongs. One can find among the jurors Péter Krausz, at present media advisor of Mr Kiss or Ambrus Kiss, advisor of the Chancellery Minister and expert of employment policy in the Hungarian Socialist Party. We can find the name of József Böjte, film director who regularly publishes left-wing political writings on the website of the Socialists. There are also jurors from the Ministry of Labour: Zsófia Szép, head of the department of human resources development and Mariann Ladó, director general of the ministry.
The Ministry of Education has been represented by press chief Gabriella Szántó and chief counsellors Mrs Zsolt Bakos and Ágnes Adonyi. The Adult Training Institute established by Péter Kiss in 2002 has distributed on its media tenders HUF 102 million for St. Plusz, a company of Tamás Gyárfás, Klubrádió has received 15 million, the publisher of Metro newspaper HUF 13,5 million, the daily Népszabadság HUF 15 million, the firms of Axel Springer HUF 34 million, Ringier (HUF 7 million), Diario Ltd belonging to Editorial Ltd publishing the daily Népszava (HUF 4 million), ESMA publishing formerly Népszava (HUF 14 million), Ákos Mester’s Telegráf Ltd (HUF 16 million), Mikroszkóp Theatre (HUF 12 million). Indirectly the Congregation of Faith (Hit Gyülekezete) has been also remunerated as Magyar ATV and Új Spirit Ltd received aboput HUF 27 million while Sawyer Miller Group, the firms of Gábor Bruck, former campaign manager of Mayor Demszky has been given HUF 14 million.
