In Hungarian medical journals there can be seen advertisements looking for Hungarian doctors who can be employed for a weekend or holiday duty. One of the favourite destinations is England where family doctors are often invited in groups. So far there has been no regulation of the working time of the medical personnel in the European Union. Since the EU accession of Hungary there has been 544 applications filed in the Hungarian Chamber of Physicists to be employed abroad. The document issued by the Chamber testifies the doctor in question is professionally and morally reliable.
