The government wants to liquidate the State Privatization Company in the first half of this year and wishes to merge all the institutions which are responsible for the state property and its management.
This is the essence of a document sent to Magyar Nemzet by an employee of the Ministry of Finance who calls himself ’Q8’. The legal successor of the State Property Company would be the State Treasury. The unified property management would include the self-governments as well. The document speaks about the urgent problem of motorway construction in concession as the state has no money to build even a fraction of the length of motorways promised in the government programme.
So far Hungarian motorways built in concession belong to the most expensive ones in Europe. New bills on transport policy, gambling, and stock exchange and banking operations are said to be in preparation, too.
