STATE FARM FOR LEISZTINGER

Magyar Nemzet has pointed out it several times that certain state-owned agricultural companies were sold below their market price to facilitate their selling cheaply to a couple of big entrepreneurs attached to the Hungarian Socialist Party.

By a recent financial transaction it was Tamás Leisztinger whose sphere of interest could obtain Alcsisziget Agricultural Company, which has been recently privatized. On Friday Forrás Company bought Konfarm Agricultural Ltd which bought in December deeply below price Alcsisziget Agricultural Company from State Privatization and Property Management Company (ÁPV Rt). Forrás Company is the 48,87 pc property of Arago Holding belonging to the sphere of interest of Mr Leisztinger who owns among others Pick, Hunguest Hotels, and Eravis, too. Arago Holding has a capital of more than HUF 25 billion.
