Experts claim there is a chance of making big profits on buying fighters, transport aircrafts, and helicopters which have been sold by State Privatization and Holding Company for a couple of million forintgs each. In the last couple of years twenty-three Soviet-made fighters withdrawn from the Hungarian army have been sold to private companies. The official said the aircrafts could be used only as museum pieces or for ground training. There are interested buyers also in the United States of America but in respect to parts supply the old aircrafts seem to be useless.
