VERES-PACKAGE OF RESTRICTIONS EXPECTED

The Ministry of Finance is expected to announce new restrictive measures within days because of the great budget deficit, probably it will mean the final blocking of already separated reserves.

HUF 150 billion of the ministries are to be blocked but new restrictions may ensue as foreign analysts have expressed their concern over the serious state of the Hungarian economy. The new report about the Hungarian GDP will be published by the Office of Statistics tomorrow. Foreign analysts are disappointed because János Veres, Ministry of Finance seems to be unable to face the problems. In the first four month of this year the state deficit increased by a daily HUF 7,2 billion which can be translated that each Hungarian citizen became indebted with 720 forints/day.
