SPY STORY: STILL WRAPPED IN MYSTERY

’The report requested by the Prime Minister about the spy case has not arrived yet from András Tóth, political state secretary supervising the secret services’, Boglár László government spokesperson said to Magyar Nemzet yesterday.

She said that considering the confidential nature of the report she would not tell more about the report even later. She refuted the information that it was the Premier himself who divulged the story in a background discussion with left-liberal media personalities. Magyar Nemzet published the news of the spy scandal first on last Monday. The Szatmári couple allegedly working for the Romanian secret service found access to a present and a former minister of the Gyurcsány government and in a Romanian Internet portal called Transindex the transcription of a recorded phone conversation has also appeared bearing witness to an intimate connection between Ildikó Szatmári and Bálint Magyar, Minister of Education.
