UNPRECEDENTED RESULT OF LABORATORY INQUIRY

Early this year a laboratory inquiry brought unprecedented results: they found excrement bacteria in the milk-shake enriched with liver paste and eggs serving to feed in-patients debilitated by illness.

Among the thirty samples taken in ten hospitals there have been in ten samples traces of excrement which means that at least in four hospitals there are grave problems caused by negligence. In spite of the scandal there have been no measures taken by either the State Public Health Office or by the Ministry of Health, that was why the National Association of Hungarian Dietitians turned with an open letter to Premier Gyurcsány on Wednesday requesting his assistance to abolish abuses of clinical nutrition.
