Miklós Hankó Faragó MP (Free Democrat) will hold a lecture on drug prevention in a primary and in a secondary school in Szombathely in the ’liberal week’ organized by the Alliance of Free Democrats. Fidesz has expressed its concern while the Socialists claim it is the responsibility of the headmasters to decide who are permitted to enter their institutions. The Ministry of Education led by the Free Democrats claims the lectures are legitimate.
It is still a question how the liberal MP is authorized to hold such lectures as he has not any training either as a teacher or as a specialist in drug prevention and the law prohibits all sorts of political campaign at schools. László Sió, head of the educational section of Fidesz said it was extremely embarassing that the liberal MP would speak about drugs as the majority of the Hungarian society refused the views of the Free Democrats about the use of drugs.
