NEW SUSPECTS IN TÖRÖKBÁLINT BLAST CASE

The police wants to charge the leaders of the company which caused in Törökbálint the death of several people in a blast last August. They are suspected of causing public danger.

The four leaders of Pyro-Technic Ltd have been summoned to appear this morning. So far the charge against Ferenc Tóth, Ferenc Tőtös, Gábor Lengyel, and Zoltán Kovács has been the suspicion of abusing explosive materials but the investigation points to their responsibility for the blast taking three lives and causing considerable damage in the periphery of the blast.

The suspects and their lawyers have no knowledge about the new circumstances and they have not received the reports of the experts, either. Ferenc Tóth, managing director of Pyro-Technic Ltd said to Magyar Nemzet yesterday the leaders of the company had no trust in the Pest county police who led the investigation based on their concepts and not on facts. The police sticks to its original suspicion that the illegally stored black gunpowder exploded on the premises of the company.
