The restrictions affect most heavily the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defence but the Ministry of Health, Agriculture, and the Ministry of the Interior will also dismiss more than one thousand of their employees. Premier Gyurcsány has announced that the money necessary for the planned tax cut will be provided by such restrictions, freezing the reserves of the ministries, too. The measures do not affect the benefits of the government members.
