FIDESZ ADVANTAGE INCREASING

According to the recent opinion poll of Gallup the advantage of Fidesz is 23 pc to the Hungarian Socialists in the circle of decided party voters while the image of the Prime Minister has become worse: 58 pc of all the questioned people find Péter Medgyessy’s work poor.

The support of the Hungarian Socialists is the weakest since the elections of 2002. The advantage of Fidesz has increased by 14 pc in the total survey of voters while the Free Democrats and the Hungarian Democratic Forum can count on 4-4 pc in the circle of decided voters. People are dissatisfied not only with Mr Medgyessy’s work but with that of the government, too: only 23 pc are contented with the cabinet.
