Antal Rogán MP (Fidesz), chairman of the parliamentary committee of informatics wants a parliamentary inquiry or an investigation of the public prosecutor in the case the Ministry of Informatics does not give a credible answer to the question what justified the price of HUF 1 million for computers bought for kindergartens.
The politician finds only half of the price justifiable while experts claim only one third of the sum could be accepted. The politician has also demonstrated that a ’cocoa-safe’ computer keyboard can be bought for only HUF 6875. The programme of the ministry has sent 269 computers for kindergartens in small villages. The ministry said the price involved other expenses, too, like softwares for children.
