There is another ranking list of the secondary schools which is not published, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. The written entrance examination tests of students reflect more the real learning, experts claim. According to the headmaster of the Piarist Grammar School it is most interesting that this list has not been published, just after the debate about the state subsidy of church schools. Gábor Neuwirth, educational research worker says the score achieved on university entrance examinations renders a more reliable picture because it differentiates among ’weaker’ and ’stronger’ academic institutions.
