The Ministry of Health has paid HUF 30 million in damages to an advertising company. The firm should have had to popularize the health reform for the taxpayers but the hopeful plans failed though a huge sum of money had been paid for preparations. The operation of the so-called reform secretariat and the salaries cost some tens of millions but large sums have been paid to experts as well. Havasi advertising agency was commissioned by a contract worth HUF 150 million but it turned out that the plan itself failed and the contract was cancelled. The Ministry of Health had to pay HUF 30 million in damages, the fact has been confirmed by Katalin Kántor, press officer of the ministry.
