There has started a war of numbers about the agricultural agreement signed on Sunday. The government spokesman said the contract increased the budget deficit by HUF 2,4 billion. István Jakab, chairman of the farmers’ organization expressed his satisfaction over the agreement while László Paulina, member of the Party of Hungarian Countryside criticized the agreement calling it unacceptable. According to him the government should issue farmers’ bonds in the value of HUF 15 billion with a term of 2-3 years. István Jakab refused the criticism saying that Mr Paulina did not sign the agreement.
