According to the informations of Magyar Nemzet the education must be suspended and the building must be closed unless there will be positive measures taken until April. Ildikó Orosz, president of the college said they had been striving for years to achieve a subsidy similar to that of Sapientia University in Transylvania. They have turned with letters to Vilmos Szabó, political state secretary, to József Bálint-Pataki, president of the Office of Hungarians Beyond the Borders, and to Bálint Magyar, Minister of Education requesting them to accelerate the process of decision over financial subsidies. Ms Orosz said they had received financial support from the sister towns of Beregszász (Esztergom, Győr, Újpest) but these sums did not cover all the expenses. The college that bears the name of Prince Francis Rákóczi II had been in the focus of attacks until the change of government in the Ukraine but now the building is again in the property of the college which has to maintain it.
