According to a recent survey of Gallup the advantage of Fidesz has somewhat diminished but in the circle of determined voters there has been no change in March. The Hungarian Socialist Party stands at 24 pc while Fidesz has 30 pc while in the circle of stable party preferences 50 pc of the voters would vote for Fidesz, 41 pc for the Socialists, while the Free Democrats and the Hungarian Democratic Forum would get 3-3 pc each. The image of the Prime Minister has deteriorated, 47 pc of persons interviewed are not satisfied with his work and only every third of the interviewed persons has a positive opinion about Ferenc Gyurcsány.
