The central bank basic interest after yesterday’s cut is only 7,75 pc while student loans still have an interest of 11,95 pc. This interest rate is only supervised twice in a year so the January rate will be in force until August. So far 286 unpaid student loans have been reported to the tax authority: in these cases the total sum must be repaid at once.
