The metropolitan faction of the Hungarian Justice and Life Party urges an immediate examination.
The public acquisition committee of the City Hall postponed the decision which is suspected to help a firm closely attached to the leaders of the metropolitan assembly. The critics find it scandalous that the HUF 180 billion investment is started by a tender for a programme of PR and conflict management. Pál Vajda, deputy mayor (Hungarian Socialist Party) finds, however, shocking that the opposition wants to hinder the investment subsidized from the cohesion funds of the European Union.
