The Ministry of Education has reduced radically the fees of teachers taking part in school-leaving examinations. The Union of Teachers requests the ministry to change this decision and pay the teachers an adequate fee for their additional work. The ministry claims that the decision has been supported by the National Council of Vocational Training. The ministry explains the reduction by the fact that former fees were paid after separate written and oral examinations but this year there have been only written school-leaving examinations. In vocational schools only one third of the original fees have been paid.
