BANK ROBBERY AT MÓR REINVESTIGATED

The National Bureau of Investigation has begun again its investigation into the bank robbery case at Mór which took place three and a half year ago costing eight deaths, Col. György Zsombok, head of the Criminal Department confirmed to Magyar Nemzet.

The Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office has received a new report and it ordered the renewal of the investigation. Antal Dezső, defense lawyer of Ede Kaiser condemned to life imprisonment in the first instance had no information about the report but claimed the process following in the second instance tomorrow would not be influenced by it. The announcement has been made by two defendants who were tried by the Central District Court of Pest for violence and crimes against property.

Lajos Faragó former intelligence officer who defends the men of Hungarian and Slovakian citizenship confirmed that his defendants could prove their statement by documents and they were asking for a correct procedure in exchange for their confession. According to the verdict in the first instance eight people were murdered in Erste Bank at Mór three years ago. Two men left the bank but the killer has not been found. Kaiser has been condemned to life imprisonment while László Hajdú has got fifteen years.
