According to the informations of Magyar Nemzet the leaders of the National Health Insurance Fund (OEP) yesterday had talks with the greatest Hungarian distributor of insulin that the state would conclude a contract with the company to purchase the necessary amount of insulin for half a year, even before the new edict about price cuts would come into force on April 1. The news about the talks have not been confirmed and there is no news about a similar offer to other companies. It is not known how the government will provide the necessary money for this. Mihály Kökény, Minister of Health said in a television programme on Sunday that there would be no patient without insulin.
