NO MISTAKE POSSIBLE

According to data in company registration János Mészáros got to the management of Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) after the change of government, who along with László Kelemen, onetime chairman of the supervising committee of the bank took twice HUF 150 million from Attila Kulcsár ex-broker, suspected of fraud.

According to Gyula Szekér, permanent driver of Kulcsár the transaction took place in the office of Britton Ltd in September and October, 2002. The managing director of K&H Bank then said that the money went to a very important place so there was no mistake possible in counting it. János Mészáros was appointed as member of the management of State Property Management Company in 1996, after Péter Medgyessy became Minister of Finance, formerly he had worked as chairman of the supervising committee of Corvinbank Company. The bank had a common enterprise with Csaba Kerék, belonging to the Britton group.
