BUDAPEST TRANSPORT: TAX FRAUD, LOSS OF HUF 100 MILLION

The vehicle repair company of Budapest Transport Company (BKV) has sold discarded property worth HUF 100 million for HUF 2 million for an entrepreneur though even the silver parts are worth double of the price.

The company, indirectly owned by the self-government of Budapest has committed tax fraud, too. The document about it is in the property of Magyar Nemzet. The repair shop made a loss of HUF 893 million in 2002 and there were serious problems in the field of work discipline, too, as 67 000 working hours were lost, to be completed by hired workers.
