RENOVATION OF MEDGYESSY IMAGE AIMED?

After the scandalous obscene gesture in Sopron and an obscene word in the Socialist headquarters Zoltán Gál J.: ’The strategy is the old one, confirmed’.

The Socialists guess there is a new communications strategy behind Premier Medgyessy’s latest scandalous manifestations, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. They think the Prime Minister wishes to gain the sympathy of the young by his gestures and outbursts to transform his image which suggests an incompetent person, someone who is unable to make decisions. Probably it was a government decision to leak out the Premier’s obscene outburst at the session of the national committee of the Hungarian Socialist Party on Saturday to fortify this new image. Zoltán Gál.J. government spokesman said there was no change in the strategy of the communication but he did not react to the question if the scandalous and obscene gestures and words of the Premier were parts of this strategy or not.
