HUF 100 BILLION IN 100 DAYS

Fidesz: ’The government helps its own clients by privatization’. Róbert Répássy MP (Fidesz) claims that during the 2,5 years of the government of the Socialists and Free Democrats twice of the amount of state property has been privatized than during the whole four years of the Orbán government.

He said the real aim of the privatization was to favour the clients of the government, mainly those of Premier Gyurcsány. The deputy faction leader of Fidesz said that during Ferenc Gyurcsány’s premiership there had been a HUF 100 billion state property privatized in 100 days, including the sale of Richter shares, that of ships of MAHART, Dunaferr Company, National Publishing House of Schoolbooks, and that of ten state farms.

The state debt has increased by HUF 3500 which would be enough to cover the pensions of all pensioners for eight years or this sum would cover the expenses of 1500-2000 kilometers of new motorways.
