The detailed analysis of the language tests of high level GCE has been published and the data show that more students failed in the new system though 80 pc of them had good or excellent marks in the secondary school. In the high level German test more than 30 pc of the students failed while the English language proved too diffficult for 18 pc of all students. On high level tests at least ten pc of each task should be resolved but one-fifth of all students has not reached this level which means that these students would have automatically failed in a normal GCE.
