The survey has been made in the circle of teachers who regard Viktor Orbán as the most repugnant person on the list while he stands second on the list of most widely known personalities. The president of the company, Tamás Csikesz had been working for the daily Magyar Hírlap and for Világgazdaság. The survey was subsidized by the Ministry of Education.
Tamás Csikesz founded DFT-Hungária Ltd five years ago and its work has been connected with educational programmes. This company publishes a freely distributed publication called Egyenes út az egyetemre (Direct was to the university) in a circulation of 135 000 for secondary school students and the opinion poll has been published in this material, made by the Entrance Examination Information Service, headed also by Tamás Csikesz. The Ministry of Education has recognized they support the bulletin with HUF 525 000/page.
The questionnaires were sent to secondary schools in winter. The opinion of students were contrary to those of their teachers:for them former Prime Minister Péter Medgyessy was the most repulsive person. The survey covered 265 secondary schools with 2268 teachers. The negative list follows after Orbán with Ferenc Szálasi and Mátyás Rákosi. Máriusz Révész, spokesman of Fidesz finds it scandalous that Bálint Magyar, Minister of Education spends public money for such openly political messages distributed in schools while the minister keeps preaching about political neutrality in schools.
