FAVOURS FOR SOCIALIST PARTY MEMBERSHIP

The X. (Kőbánya, Budapest) district organization of the Hungarian Socialist Party has sent again a circular to its former members promising them a new membership card and different favours if they renew their membership.

The addressees are mainly pensioners or people living on welfare threatened with the withdrawal of the benefits if they fail to fill in the form of membership. Csaba Kaszab, Socialist deputy mayor of the district denies this. Another letter gives a list of different favours and benefits provided after filling in the membership form, requiring an electronic signature which is necessary for purchases at discount prices and for administrative procedures made easier.
