The Romanian daily Ziua claims 1 billion forints have disappeared in the hands of former Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Medgyessy and his close friend Sándor Mudura, a big entrepreneur in Nagyvárad (Oradea, Romania). According to the paper the dubious transactions of the couple had been carried out by the two notorious suspects of the K&H scandal, Csaba Kerék and Attila Kulcsár.
The paper tries to find the answer to the question how Péter Medgyessy, an officer of the Hungarian Communist secret service could rise to the post of a Prime Minister and how Alexandru Mudura, a plain health officer coluld become one of the 300 richest people in Romania.
The paper claims that Mudura owes his fortune to chocolate eggs sold by him (he has been called a Kinder King) and to his connections with Hungarian inverstors and mainly to his friendship with the secret agent Medgyessy. The Romanian daily gives a list of companies involved in different frauds and claims Mudura avoided punishment by the great influence of the former Premier.
