ESPIONAGE AFFAIR: PARTIAL PUBLICITY

András Tóth, state secretary of national security has lifted partially the classification of the report which had been made for Premier Gyurcsány about the so-called espionage affair. The extracts of the classified report claim that operative documents have been published allegedly by the help of MPs of Fidesz about the Szatmári couple to destabilize the government.

László Kövér MP, chairman of the parliamentary committee for national security (Fidesz) held a special briefing and said the daily Népszabadság had given the news about the report when it was still confidential. László Kövér said András Tóth was unsuited for his office and his superior, Péter Kiss, head of the Prime Minister’s Office, too if he let András Tóth run amok. He claimed Premier Gyurcsány was also unqualified except he was moving the strings from behind.
