The interview with György Moldova ended disgracefully as the author claimed in Hungary the falsification of history was characteristic while he himself wrote history. He hinted at Viktor Orbán as Mátyás Rákosi’s successor while the laughing anchor, István Verebes said he had to go to the loo. György Moldova spoke about his new book about János Kádár whom he regarded as the greatest Hungarian politician in spite of his crimes. Moldova mentioned Ilona Tóth, martyr of the revolution of 1956 as a murderer. Later the author announced the date and place of showing and autographing his new book. Anchor Verebes said this ad would cost the producer much money and Moldova offered to pay the fine. The legal expert of Magyar Nemzet said an anchor was not responsible for words of his guests in a live programme but it was a grave mistake that István Verebes did not dissociate himself from the extremist points of view. Zoltán Rudi, president of the public television was not available until our closing date.
