FALSE GREY CATTLE IN CORA

Cora chainstores have committed the same mistake that they did last year, they have sold ordinary beef labelled as grey cattle meat.

The Union of Grey Cattle Breeders have reported the case to the economic police. The products of grey cattle meat should bear an identification tag with the number of ENAR to establish the origin of the product but the National Agricultural Qualification Institute has pointed out Cora used false ENAR numbers. Last year the State Public Health Office fined Cora for the same ’mistake’. Tamás Székelyhidi, official of the Union of Hungarian Grey Cattle Breeders said his union had nothing against Cora selling grey cattle meat if it was original and at a reasonable price.
