TEA-TROLLEYS AND BLACKBOARDS FOR BILLIONS

The classrooms will be provided with 40 000 interactive blackboards until 2010. According to the Ministry of Education a complete equipment with a projector and a laptop costs HUF 5-600 000.

Apart from this 1100 digital tea-trolleys have been sent for the schools for HUF 3 billion. Next year the state subsidy of schools will be reduced by HUF 20 billion. The interactive blackboards will be bought in the second phase of the National Development Plan – one thousand of such boards have been obtained by the schools winning different tenders. The ministry claims these equipments will make learning and teaching much easier and they help the display of digitally recorded educational materials.
