According to the informations of Magyar Nemzet the privatization tender of the vehicle repair shop of BKV will be announced within weeks. The committee of owners in the metropolitan assembly is expected to approve of the privatization while László Zsinka (Hungarian Justice and Life Party), vice chairman of the committee wants to hear the supervising committee of the company, too, also reponsible for the economic abuses. Formerly it turned out that Béla Hubert, deputy faction leader of the Free Democrats in the metropolitan assembly had dubious transactions with the repair shop though he was also a member of the supervising committee, too. There have been scandals in the other company of BKV, Railway Repair Shop, too: here a stock of spare parts was sold for HUF two million, worth HUF 100 million. The Railway Repair Shop produced a loss of HUF 893 million in 2002.
