MS KONDOR ABOUT THE FALSE CHARGE

Katalin Kondor, President of the Hungarian Public Radio said the daily Népszava tried to discredit her morally to destroy her reputation in a part of the Hungarian society.

Ms Kondor has won a suit against Népszava which has to rectify its statements about Ms Kondor, claiming she was the agent of the secret service of the Communist dictatorship under the cover name ’Vári’ and she did her work ’on a patriotic basis’ without remuneration.

Népszava published a document which did not prove the claim as such documents had been filled out about persons who did not cooperate or whose recruitment was planned. Katalin Kondor is expected to file another suit to protect her personality rights.
