RADIO PRESIDENT WINS SUIT

Katalin Kondor, president of the Hungarian Radio has won a suit against the daily Népszava which could not prove its libellous claim Ms Kondor was a secret agent. The verdict is valid and the paper has to rectify its statement.

Yesterday the Metropoliotan Court of Appeal said Népszava was writing the untruth both in its printed and internet version about Katalin Kondor. The president of the Hungarian Public Radio said she was glad she could clear herself from the libels though a rectification could not make people forget the serious charges against her.
